Additionally, Cochran Law has experience in the distribution of Small Estates and will help to make sure the process goes as efficiently as possible for our clients.

Appeals

 

There are times when the desired outcome is not achieved during trial, whether it be for a divorce, modification, criminal action or any number of legal proceedings. You have the option to appeal a Court’s judgement to the next higher court to determine if the lower Court made a reversible error.

When looking at an appeal, Cochran Law ensures that the law was interpreted and applied correctly to your case. We review the precedents set forth by the Nebraska Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals, while researching other case law and circumstances that have not yet been decided and published by the higher courts and use those to aide clients in their appeals. We advocate and strenuously defend and argue for our clients in front of the higher courts to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients. Throughout his time in practicing law, Shane Cochran has argued and had great success in several cases that he has argued for clients in front of the Nebraska Court of Appeals.
